Reassured

I was reading a missionary biography
About a beautiful woman of faith
Who loves Jesus
And wants to be like him.
She saw incredible transformation
In Africa.

Though happy for her,
A doubt crept in:
Was it a lack of openness to God’s will
That has kept me in the States?
Was I not obedient enough?

Today, an unexpected email
From a sister in Christ
I have met once, months ago:

You are one of the “yes” ones who will do anything He says.

How gentle is my Jesus.
