The Psalms praise God
Or maybe rant
Or call down imprecations on enemies.
There’s a range of purposes.
Jesus thanks God for food.
Goes alone to pray (just to be with God?).
Seeks direction before choosing disciples.
Paul prays for the believers,
That they will increase in love,
Hold fast in faith,
Be fruitful in the work of the Lord.
I love that prayer is
Vast enough
And personal enough
That there is not
One
Right way to pray.
