Caleb, just over a year,
Is ready for present opening.
He finds the edge of the paper,
Tears a piece, stands up,
And walks it carefully to the place he chooses.
When he has another small piece, it joins its elder,
And this clean, precise dance
Repeats
Until we are all desperately impatient
And help.
