Hashtag for the Year

I used to ask for a word for the year,
A simple summary of where a person has been.

Perhaps a hashtag is a better request,
Offering a medium for a few words.

Not everyone has a good year.
And there is space for sigh, for enigma.

But what joy for #released, #affirmation,
#thankfulrestoration, #mypeople.

God is at work, and we celebrate
How he was at work this year.
