For Christmas this year, unexpectedly
We got a gift card to our grocery store.
This spoke to me, on a deep level,
That there will be provision.
For Christmas this year, unexpectedly
We put together a gift box for a friend.
This spoke to him, on a deep level,
That there will be love and community.
When the Holy Spirit guides gift-giving,
What can we do but receive with joy?
