One cannot weep for the entire world; it is beyond human strength. One must choose.
My friend chooses high school students.
We choose the ones who come through our door.
And we serve a Savior who wept with Mary and Martha,
And whose Spirit groans on our behalf,
A God who enters in to the grief of the one and the many.
It is beyond human strength to weep for the entire world.
Thank God he has the strength.
Thank God he doesn’t choose.
