When I think about past vacations,
I want to be able to pull up my lists
Of places we went and things we saw.
I want details to bring me back.
My sister wants impressions:
This was restful; that was unpleasant;
This was exhausting; that was enjoyable.
If I wondered ever whether I am
A big picture thinker or a detail person,
Our vacation memories clear that up.
