I have always looked at the crucifixion
Through the lens of Jesus. No greater love
Than a man lay down his life for his friends.
A heart-stopping moment today, to shift perspective.
Jesus has a Father. Who lays down his child’s life?
Hurt me, fine. But don’t mess with my boys.
How great the Father’s love for us.
How vast beyond all measure.
