I finally listened to Hamilton last week—
Loved the care and clarity of the storytelling.
It’s been most of a week since,
A hundred hours and more
After my single listen,
And the words keep bouncing around
In my brain.
I hadn’t realized how much
I valued having my own mind
Independent of the sounds of others.
