We have an old bachelor friend.
When asked how he is, he always says the same thing:
“Victory.”
Can anyone have unending victory?
This response seemed facile.
Until we considered that perhaps
He is speaking from the reality of the believer,
Not the changing emotions of the moment.
suppose it's no different to saying blessed. In the whole scheme of things we are, though maybe not at that very moment.
