Re-Entry

Back well after dark,
Phil went first thing next morn to view his environs.
He found all land and animals well.

As he left the quiet barn,
He wondered, randomly, if the freezer was working.
It was not.

Accidentally unplugged,
All meat thawed. Not spoiled.
The shape of my day changed.

I cooked and shredded all roasts.
The steaks and ground beef we refroze.
And we rejoice for the provision of prompting.

And some say there's no God.
