As Isaiah moves ahead into algebra,

You can do anything,
So long as you do it to each side.
This all seems straightforward
Until Isaiah states, frustrated,
I don’t understand,
But cannot explain what he doesn’t understand.
That’s the nature of miscommunications,
Of course. Neither side knows what the other is missing.
