If I ask:
How can I improve my marriage?
I grow paralyzed.
The question is too much.
But if I ask:
How can I love my husband today?
I can think about that.
And answer:
I can look at him and not at the dishes,
Or ask him a question instead of keeping by myself,
Or thank him for allowing me to nap at any time.
Marriage building, apparently,
Is more about small, loving choices,
Than about large romantic endeavors.
Good thing.
