For five hours in the afternoon,
We headed to our friend’s house,
And sat in the beautifully warm pool
And chatted about trips to Greece
And work endeavors
As we watched the children
To make sure they wouldn’t drown
(None did, though Caleb, fearless,
Took some risks—but always with
A watchful adult nearby).
