When the dishwasher went out again
With its fourth different error code,
We decided it was time for a new one.
After Phil researched as much as he could,
We drove to the appliance store
And talked to the salesman
Until we felt like we could make a reasonable decision.
And when we thought about delivery,
I was ready to get it loaded in the van
For Phil to install somehow
Until I looked at Phil’s face,
And thought that this is just one more small sacrifice
While his leg is broken and painful.
Four days until delivery and installation!
