I spent forty hours
Cleaning out another’s house.
Then I came home,
And my home needed cleaning.
I haven’t found forty hours yet,
But even an hour or four a day
Has made a difference in my home’s
Function and livability.
Cleaning out requires mental effort.
Is this item worth keeping?
Does this bring me joy?
It leaves little room for writing
Or other creative effort.
