Years ago I read a homeschool
How-to book that recommended
Reading aloud to the children
Four hours a day.
Now I love books more than most,
But that is still a tremendous amount of time.
I occasionally managed,
But mostly I failed.
I realized recently that
Audio books might be the answer.
No longer do they require
Changing a disc every hour or so.
I can order entire books for some bucks,
And the boys listen all afternoon
While they draw or build or play.
The impossible became possible.
