The wife and children

Who studied the Word

In secret during the day

While the husband was at work.

He surprised them once,

Coming home for lunch.

They hid the Bible in the oven

And then prayed.

He cooked a fish in the oven,

And returned to work.

They opened the oven

And found the Bible, unseen and safe.

The young man, shot by his father

In both legs because he converted.

Left paralyzed, he lived seven years in a mental hospital,

Visited once a week by his mother

Until one day Jesus in the flesh

Joined them, took the man by the hand, and said,

Rise and walk and come with me.

And he rose, and walked, and left the hospital.

The son serves the Savior

And the mother bears witness.
