It’s en vogue to disregard Paul,
That logical, Modernist mind
With the Twentieth Century mindset.
He’s not progressive enough
And offends our sensibilities.
And so we ignore him him.
But
As apostle to the Gentiles,
He’s the apostle to us.
We, like the Israelites,
Ignore the messenger God sends.
A perilous policy, to be sure.
