My friend taught on marriage,
Eighteen months after his wife passed away.
And the thing I remember most
Is that he said that it is only now
Does he realize how precious
And glorious and miraculous marriage is,
A picture that, in its simplicity and challenge
Is a declaration of God in the heavenlies.
