Two friends wondered if they could come
To study and maybe talk.
They would arrive at nine at night.
I welcomed the company, but suggested
A slumber party,
And so they came and we talked for six hours,
Fell asleep, and woke to go our separate ways,
Refreshed and celebrating
Friendship.
