In prayer for a friend,
The Lord said, “Send this email.”
I wrote it up . . .
But didn’t send it.
It felt presumptuous,
The preschooler instructing the professor.
Two weeks later, I was preparing
To write about the importance of obedience.
“Send this email.”
So I did.
And heard back,
“Thank you for listening.
God is at work.”
His ways are perfect.
