In an Old Testament battle,
The enemy focused on the
Mass of Israelites,
Unaware of the smaller
Shock troop force.
In the New Testament,
God kept his plan secret,
Sent his shock troop perfect man,
And then, through Paul,
Could reveal his plan to the world.
Or, if the chosen people were at the forefront,
The church of God comes,
As the unanticipated shock troop,
To fight victoriously.
